Communication is an Art (Language Science)
Communication is the art of successfully sharing meaningful information with people by means of an interchange of experience
Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place to another.

A message or communication is sent by the sender through a communication channel to a receiver, or to multiple receivers. The sender must encode the message (the information being conveyed) into a form that is appropriate to the communication channel, and the receiver(s) then decodes the message to understand its meaning and significance.

Misunderstanding can occur at any stage of the communication process. Effective communication involves minimising potential misunderstanding and overcoming any barriers to communication at each stage in the communication process.
Communication is the exchange and flow of information and ideas from one person to another; it involves a sender transmitting an idea, information, or feeling to a receiver (U.S. Army, 1983).
Studying the communication process is important because you coach, coordinate, counsel, evaluate, and supervise throughout this process. It is the chain of understanding that integrates the members of an organization from top to bottom, bottom to top, and side to side.

If communication is indeed the heartbeat of relationship, it's little wonder that most relations are on coronary care. Once again we are confronted with another absurd reality. Our culture deprives us of the most fundamental education that we require to succeed in our relationships. Learning the subtleties and nuances of meaningful and effective communication are the cornerstones of successfully relating.

Having excellent communication skills is a requirement for every job !
Whatever your field or experience level might be, your ability to get hired and then to succeed is dependent on excellent communications skills. It’s rare to see an advertisement for a job that doesn’t include this among the various other requirements.

However difficult it may be to evaluate any of your other skills, employers can easily tell how well you communicate by the way you write your cover letter and résumé, and how you converse during phone or in-person interviews. Spelling or grammatical errors are often “the kiss of death” for otherwise well-qualified candidates. But the requirement for strong communications skills goes well beyond this minimal standard.

You will demonstrate that you're an effective communicator when you carefully assess your situation, logically think out what you want to say and then do so clearly and succinctly. You will make the best possible case for yourself, and thereby convince an employer that you represent the ideal answer to their needs.

Regular and effective communications invite people to engage in discussion (communication is a dialogue after all!) and provide 2 way feedback between management and employees, departments and colleagues. This in turn promotes a culture of sharing ideas and knowledge, but also making these happen.

ATTENTION: La communication fait partie des secteurs où les entreprises abusent des stagiaires et des contrats précaires (alternance, contrat pro... )
